SLPS: Speech and Language Preverbal Skills Training<\/h3>\n

Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are you frustrated and helpless when facing preverbal clients who give you no response during therapy sessions? Here is a workshop that brings you some ideas about treating those preverbal clients effectively. Due to the previous success, this course will be conducted once again in coming October. Louisa and Pauline have extensive experience in pediatric speech and language therapy locally for decades, they compiled their frontline clinical experience and put into this \u201cSpeech-Language Preverbal Skills Training\u201d (SLPS) Level 1 theory course.<\/p>\n

To put theory into practice, a practicum will be conducted to give participants hands-on experience in nonverbal child language cases in Level 2. The practicum, with the luxurious instructor-participant ratio of 1:6, will enable you to get familiar with the assessment and treatment skills for the preverbal clients on site. Please be prepared to have lots of brainstorming, analysis and discussion, and get ready for your mind and hands to work on challenging cases during the practicum.<\/p>\n
